"we did the full day"

lake mahinapua to fraz joseph
the fraz joseph glacier
first, let me explain the pictorial situation, many of the new zealand activities were not susceptible to big (my real, beautiful dslr camera)...so much of my blog post are from my point and shoot. while i love that little sucker, it obviously does not produce the highest quality image, rather just super artsy (if you want to call it that)/contorted images. i was bitter about this fact on glacier climb day b/c it was one of the most amazing things i saw in new zealand. any who...there is the reason for that. but the best camera you can have...is the camera you have, so here it is.

second, the franz joseph glacier is a freak of nature. it is literally a glacier in the middle of a rainforest and a couple km away from a beach. but it rains on the daily, and is the fastest moving glacier in the world. beyond dope.

thats jess. our ass kickin', ice pickin' glacier guide. she made us some A grade steps.

best glacier climbin' group to ever climb a glacier.

in the blue.

what a day. but i climbed a glacier...what are you doing with your life?!

the day was proceeded by hot pools and a fire side pub extravaganza. lovely really.
