beautiful place that milford sound, which we would soon learn was actually a fiord, was breathtaking. literally mountains coming up out of the ocean [fiord]. plus they had a BANGIN' buffet, and we tore that sucker up.

lovely day, we headed back to te anau [half way between milford and queenstown] for the night to see the glow worm caves- no photos allowed.
